GRAPPLING
Our federation develops Grappling across Armenia through regional clubs, national tournaments, and international participation.
About Grappling
Grappling is a modern submission sport based on control, balance, and technique.
It combines elements of wrestling and jiu-jitsu, focusing on takedowns, holds, and submissions.
Under UWW international rules, competitions are held in two styles — Gi and No-Gi, both emphasizing precision and strategy over raw power.
Armenian Grappling Achievements
Since 2020, Armenian Grappling athletes have proudly represented our country in European and World Championships, winning dozens of medals.
