🏅 Honors Awarded During the Gokor Chivichyan Grappling Tournament

During the Gokor Chivichyan Grappling Tournament, several individuals were honored for their significant contribution to the development of Grappling in the Republic of Armenia.

🏆 The Grappling Federation Honor Medal was awarded to:

• Sargis Bazinyan, President of the Grappling Federation of Armenia

• Yuri Afrikyan, Founder and Director of VEGA Company

• Hrant Hakobyan, Deputy CEO and Chief Financial Officer of Converse Bank PB

President Bazinyan honors philanthropist Yuri Afrikyan for his support of Armenian Grappling.

🎖 For their continuous support in the promotion of Grappling, the Federation Honor Badge was awarded to:

• Grand Master Gokor Chivichyan, multiple-time World Champion in various combat sports

• Hasmik Avagyan, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports

• Ruben Simonyan, Head of VEGA stores in Yerevan

🏅 For the first time in Armenia, the title of Honored Coach was awarded to:

• Mayis Nersesyan

• Artur Zakaryan

• Ashot Petrosyan

• Aren Gevorgyan

• Artak Simonyan
  

For his support in the development of non-Olympic sports in Armenia, the Grappling Federation Honor Badge and Certificate of Appreciation were presented to Hovhannes Tsarukyan.
