Memorandum Signed Between the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport and the Grappling Federation of Armenia

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sport (ASIPC) and the Grappling Federation of Armenia.

The agreement was signed by ASIPC Rector Tigran Simonyan and Federation Secretary General Vladimir Hovhannisyan.

President Bazinyan honors philanthropist Yuri Afrikyan for his support of Armenian Grappling.

Both parties expressed their readiness to cooperate in the training and development of Grappling specialists, including coaches and referees, within the framework of higher education.

As part of this collaboration, it was agreed to develop and implement a new continuous education program at the university, aimed at preparing qualified professionals in Grappling.

The discussion also covered the possibility of organizing practical Grappling sessions for students majoring in other related sports disciplines.

The Federation expresses its gratitude to the Institute for its partnership and commitment to the development of Grappling in Armenia.
